Get What You Want

Quick: What do you really want right now?

Good. What was the very next thought that popped into your head after you thought of something you want?

You might have hoped that what you want will happen.

You may have worried about when, how, or if it will happen.

Perhaps you thought about the things you would need to do to make it happen.

You may even have rejected the idea of having or even wanting what you want because you’d rather not experience the disappointment if it doesn’t happen.

I recommend another way. There is a state where you expect what you want will happen. In this state you are neither cocky nor pleading. It is quietly exciting.
