People who try to raise their buzz–to feel good then act–often report that they fall right back to a not-so-good-feeling state. Somehow. they can’t hold onto the better feeling way of living. Why can’t we just raise our buzz and stay there?
Because inertia.
Most of us are so used to feeling bad in general that we think this is the way things are supposed to be. Perhaps we think we are meant to or deserve to go around with a constant level of fear, uncertainty, doubt, worry, anger, and regret. Or we are familiar with feeling bad and everyone else is doing it, so why not us, too?
It turns out that catching ourselves feeling bad, making a choice to feel better, taking steps to raise our buzz, then acting as inspired is not trivial and not easy. It takes steadfast courage, determination, and resilience.
Luckily, you have all of these in abundance.
In your corner,
Mike
