We can choose to focus on lack or on appreciation. Focusing on the lack of anything pretty much always prolongs whatever is lacking. Focusing on what we appreciate prevents us from focusing on what we lack and opens our perspective to opportunity, success, and happiness.
Most of us think we need to focus on what’s missing, on what’s wrong. But which of the above choices do you think gets us more what we want?
Whenever and wherever we sense lack, our best move is to turn our attention to something–anything will do–that we appreciate. Repeat as long as you feel lack.
In your corner,
