One sure way to having lots of stress is a looooooong and growing to-do list. Double your “fun” with a generous sprinkling of artificial due dates, reminders, and task priorities.
One sure way to having less stress is a “back burner” list (of tasks/outcomes/ideas you do not want to forget and are not going to do in the next week or so) that you refresh weekly.
Instead of burdening yourself with too much in your lists, give yourself relief by moving items you choose not to do now from your outcomes and doables lists to your back burner list during your weekly refresh.
Ahhhh. That feels better already.
