2 Steps to Erase Any Disappointment


Pretty much all of us have at least one part of our work or home lives that remains a source of disappointment. It’s distracting and painful. Who needs it?! Of course, focusing on the disappointment only preserves it…in perverse, annoying, and (yes) disappointing ways.

Here’s how to rid ourselves, once and for all, of any situation that disappoints us. Both steps are necessary. First, we raise our buzz. Then we act as if the once-disappointing situation had been 100% resolved.

Can it be this simple? Yup. And if step two isn’t working, go back to step one.
