We can argue until we are blue in the face. We will win a skirmish here and there yet remain at war.
Or, we can make clear what our interests and values are and get clear on what the other people’s interests and values are. We then will regularly find unexpected, creative solutions and only occasionally skirmish.
This applies at work, home, school, and play.
