When you find it frustrating to get people to do stuff or to agree, pause. No matter what has happened or is happening now, you can get what you want by recommitting to win-win.
First, trust in everyone’s innate drive for something better. Next, learn what they most need, want, or desire and why. And share what you most need, want, or desire and why. Then openly explore possible ways to meet both sets of interests, yours and theirs.
No need to wait until the stars are aligned. Start now. You will end up with a solution that works better than you could have come up with on your own.
