Maybe I’m Just Procrastinating

In the post, Worst Way to Start Your Day, I said that the worst way is to jump “right into your tasks out of habit, pressure, or guilt.” And the best way to start your day was to get grounded, inspired, and up-to-date. But how do you know that the “best way” approach I described isn’t just another way to procrastinate, another excuse not to get your work done?

Easy. You can feel the difference. There is a clear difference in physical sensation between procrastination and a helpful attempt to start your day right. Procrastination feels bad. It feels heavy. Starting your day right feels better. It feels like relief or release.

Trust that feeling.

To your continued success,

Mike
