Trolls at work (as opposed to on the Internet or elsewhere), are those selfish, slimy, fake, icky manipulators we sometimes encounter. Trolls are the ones who give bad names to networking, selling, and day-to-day influencing.
None of us wants to be a troll. And because being a troll is so distasteful, we might forgo the benefits of networking, selling, or just day-to-day influencing.
The truth is all of us can network, sell, and influence through a commitment to win-win and with great results for all involved.
Ignore the trolls and do your good work.
