Exclusion Principles

atomic

Physicist Wolfgang Pauli taught us that two of the exact same types of bits of matter cannot occupy the same space at the same time. We can this the Pauli Exclusion Principle. It makes intuitive sense; it’s why things take up space and why we can’t walk through walls, usually.

Here’s another exclusion principle: We cannot think good-feeling thoughts when we are thinking bad-feeling thoughts. And there is no way we can think bad-feeling thoughts when we are thinking good-feeling ones. This, too, makes intuitive sense.

Recall this principle next time you are feeling at all bad at work or home. (You will be able to tell by feelings of tension, weight, or numbness someplace in your body.) One good-feeling thought will eradicate a sea of bad-feeling thoughts so you can get on with your successful day.

In your corner,

Mike
