Another Simple Definition of Leadership

hooray

Last week we saw a simple definition of leadership. Here’s another one: as leaders, we are quiet and patient cheerleaders for our teams.

So simple, so compelling, and so wonderfully profitable.

In your corner,

Mike

PS: Ever so much more profitable than having to be the one with the answers, the one making the decisions, the one telling people what to do, or the one jumping in to do the work because “it’s just faster if I do it myself!”

HT to Ariel Sabar for describing Harvard Prof. Florian Engert as just such a cheerleader in this month’s Smithsonian Magazine.
